Ribbon and thread embroidery done on a print out.

Hi everybody

Hope you all are doing fine and busy with your routine work and finding time in between for your passion/hobby be  it embroidery, knitting, stitching,  painting etc. etc. to inspire people like me.

Days have started getting hotter here in Delhi and that means, one cannot go out much unless and until it is absolutely necessary. Not forgetting summer also means eating mangoes, melons, ice creams, cold drinks. Every weather has its own charm. Mangoes, melon have their own tasty charm "BUT"  summers are definitely uncomfortable because there is no antidote for heat. I better stop crying about weather and tell you about my work.

Sometime back or should i say long time back i learnt from the net about taking out prints on the cloth on our personal printer at home and took out the following print out. I was happy with my job but i did not know what to do with it, whether to frame it just as it is or do some sort of embroidery on it and in this confusion this project got delayed. To be frank with you people i almost forgot where i kept it. At times this printout would play hide and seek with me, it would show up while cleaning cupboard and when i decided to do some work on it i would not recollect where i kept it.

Following is the printout of our deity Radha and Krishna. Very pleased with the outcome.

After playing hide and seek with this print out for so long i finally decided to do ribbon embroidery on it. I only had white and off white ribbon at home that time so i went ahead with it to make leaves and also made small roses with red ribbon.

Did little thread embroidery too.

I had bought this bead string from my local embroidery store thinking it may be of some use sometime. I am happy to put it to good use here.

Here is the close up of tiny roses.

Once i finished making leaves with white ribbon i  painted them with green color.

Did little embroidery for bangles.

Only the lowest part remains to be worked upon. Because i was not able to decide what type of embroidery to be done on this part. I'll be back soon with the finished product.

Hope you like my work so far.

Take care and God bless.

Pratima
